SEP-ADER
Sports, Exercise, and Performance Research Association (SEP-ADER)
Pioneering the future of sports science, exercise physiology, and human performance through global collaboration and open-access research.
About the Association
The Sports, Exercise, and Performance Research Association (SEPADER) was established with a forward-looking mission to support and disseminate rigorous scientific research across the multidisciplinary fields of sports science, exercise physiology, and human performance. Recognizing the rapidly evolving landscape of human capabilities, SEPADER places a special emphasis on the intersection of physical exertion and cognitive performance, neurophysiology, and neuroimaging.
Furthermore, the association champions innovative studies exploring technology in sports, wearable monitoring, digital health interventions (exergames), and the highly demanding domain of competitive esports. By fostering academic collaboration among international researchers, SEPADER seeks to bridge the critical gap between laboratory-based physiological research and real-world practical applications for athletes, coaches, and health professionals.
Driven by a strong commitment to scientific integrity, ethical standards, and technological advancement, the association's official publication organ, the Journal of Sports, Exercise, and Performance (JOSEP), actively contributes to the global literature. Through this platform, SEPADER ensures the publication of double-blind peer-reviewed, high-quality articles at the highest international standards, making them entirely open-access and freely available to the scientific community.
