About the Journal

The Journal of Sports, Exercise, and Performance (JOSEP) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality scientific research in the fields of sports science, exercise physiology, human performance, and sport-related technologies.

JOSEP promotes multidisciplinary research that integrates physiological, biomechanical, psychological, and technological perspectives in order to advance knowledge on physical performance, cognitive function, and athlete development. The journal particularly encourages studies investigating brain hemodynamics, cognitive performance, neuroscience, and the interaction between physical activity and emerging domains such as esports and digital sport environments.
